Resilience is Built, Not Given: My Journey to Bold Strength
At Embold Trainings, resilience isn’t just a word — it’s a way of life. For me, it’s personal.
I didn’t start my fitness journey with anything fancy. Like so many others, I began with those “get abs in 30 days” apps, chasing quick results. But then I discovered the gym. I discovered the barbell. And that’s when everything changed. Lifting became more than exercise — it became my lifestyle.
But here’s the truth: my path has never been straightforward. I was born with cerebral palsy, and physiotherapy has always been part of my routine. Growing up, I didn’t see any women like me in leading sports or business— disabled women who were strong, confident, and proud of their bodies. I felt shy. I felt like there wasn’t a place for me in fitness.
That all shifted the moment I touched a weight. Strength training taught me something I’ll never forget: a disability isn’t a limit — it’s something you learn to work with, adapt to, and grow stronger through. Lifting gave me the courage to stop hiding and start building.
That’s what resilience means to me. It’s not something you’re born with. It’s not given to you. It’s built — day by day, rep by rep, choice by choice.
And that’s why I started Embold Trainings. I wanted to create more than a gym — I wanted to build a community where fitness is inclusive, affordable, and empowering. A place where no one feels left out, especially those of us who know what it’s like to face barriers. Because everyone deserves the chance to discover their strength.
Resilience isn’t a gift. It’s something you create. And at Embold Trainings, we build it together.
